Apparently Charles Hamilton (Brooklyn Girl) got dropped from his label, Interscope Records, and Soulja Boy just couldn't find nothing else better to talk about via UStream. Yes, Charles Hamilton did get molly-wopped by some fem but c'mon what do you expect the Sonic the Hedgehog loving emcee to do, some sort of "sonic power roll".

To be quite honest this is one reason I slowed down on the blogging, seems like all these "I'm not hater" rappers/entertainers do nowadays is just bash each other. There's to much money out here to be digging in the next man pockets (Jay-Z and many others), ya' diiiig. But I was pondering maybe Soulja is on some that formula 50, being that it seems that Soulja is 50 cent's new protege or "Soulja", haha.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't John "Fabolous" Jackson the one who got caught riding around in a cab with a pistol and gets the police called on him. Then to make matters worse less than 5 minutes later the P.D.R. <----Professional Dick Rider Tweets "Yo the DJ is doin a jayz set.. D.O.A., kingdom come, run this town, heart of the city, h to the izzo, amillie free.. Tpain somewhere in here."
Now I don't know what kind of bond Mr. Carter and Jackson have but enough is enough, get off Jay's Planters (haha..don't stll my iish) . It makes me feel like these dudes be in the studio knocking T-Pain. Now if Pain and Jay have beef let them handle that, even though I feel Jay is a HATER, and yes a little to old to play these name calling games, but let these innovators do what they do. This is the first time we actually submitted one of our own artist (live) but I feel as bloggers we find them diamonds in the rough and we polish them to see how bright their clarity really is through all the "nay-say" and whatever else that might come to dull the light on the gem. We included this artist in our article Let Me Re-Introduce Myself back in July w/ J. Cole (read it).

Well, from out of the mines of South Sacramento we bring to you once again Rick Royals. We caught up with Royals performing at The Sports Page Bar & Grill (a sports pub located) in Roseville, Ca and didn't have a camera or camcorder, shuxxx!!.....Oh but wait we notice one of Rick's goons K.U.T from F.A.M. Gang recording the performance and promises us when it's all done and edited it's ours. BIGGUPS to K.U.T and R-Turn Production the turn out was great for a wednesday night, especially if you know how Sacramento/Roseville Police Dept.

Ha. This is very rare, a true hip-hop rap group coming back and not only bringing it but kept it in the authentic Wu format. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, see alot old groups try to change with the times and make a comeback and either one they lost it or two the change wasn't what was best. Funny thing is the Wu hasn't just kept it the same but fans have actually risen up from the dead to show their loyalty.
Another group that had success coming back was Black Eye Peas but they had to change with the times. Are you catching my drift.

Bow Wow born Shad Moss says, " he will let the cat out the bag when the clock strikes midnight of Monday(Aug 17). Well it hasn't hit midnight but my peoples at BallerStatus.com caught wind of some BIG news that invloves Bow. It has been reported that Bow Wow has put his "John Handcock" on a new contract with Cash Money Records. Two reliable insiders revealed to BallerStatus.com that the new deal with Cash Money Records is done ... a wrap. Bow Wow confirms the record deal via Twitter,
"its official BOW WOW IS A CASH MONEY MILLIONAIRE."
He later tweets, "It's the triple threat Bow, Wayne, Drake. Its about to be real stupid," Bow explained, via a UStream session. Lester William Polsfuss, known as Les Paul died of complications from pneumonia at White Plains Hospital in White Plains, New York. Les was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which "made the sound of rock and roll possible." His many recording innovations included overdubbing (also known as sound on sound), delay effects such as tape delay, phasing effects, and multitrack recording. Les Paul has released more than 40 albums starting in 1944 with Feedback and last year released Les Paul and Friends: A Tribute to a Legend. Paul was the godfather of rock guitarist Steve Miller of the Steve Miller Band, to whom Paul gave his first guitar lesson.
With genres collaborating with genres I felt I had to give you a little history lesson before you can actually claim the "rockstar" title. Cory "C-Murder" Miller had been charged with the killing of 16-year-old Steve Thomas at a New Orleans, La., nightclub. The jury handed down a 10-2 verdict in the morning but Judge Hans Liljeberg called for more deliberation after questioning the validity of one juror's vote. After returning to the deliberation room, a second guilty verdict was reached in the afternoon. A defense motion for a mistrial was denied by the judge. Cory changed his stage name to "C-Miller" in the wake of the case he was once already in trial for in 2006. After the case was thrown out by a Louisiana Supreme Court in 2006 C-Miller was subsequently put on house arrest.
In May, Miller pleaded no contest to separate, second-degree attempted-murder charges after pulling a gun on a bouncer at a Baton Rouge nightclub in 2001. Seems like Miller was a little trigger happy in the turn of the century. Now Miller is will be sentenced

C-Murder Awaits Verdict

Today jurors should be done deliberating on the case of Cory "C-Murder" Miller and the murder of the 16 year old child in 2002. This will be the second trial since Cory's 1st trial was thrown out because of a mistrial. Cory's attorney, Ron Rakosky wrapped yesterday up with his closing arguments while prosecutors paraded a train of 13 years old witnesses in dront of the court, two who have claimed to see Cory as the trigger man. Although a man by the name of Juan Flowers has admitted to pulling the trigger Rakosky is seeking another mistrial, claiming prosecutors made a deal with one of the witnesses in exchange for his testimony. If convicted Cory will face life in prison.

Here's the official trailer for EA's NBA Live 10 and this year gracing the cover is the Orlando magician Dwight Howard. The NBA Live series has been in a neck to neck battle trying to out due its competitors whom makes the 2K series. I hear that they never quite get it. Hopefully this year things will turn around for EA but as they improve what some people are calling unnecessary factors they might trail behind the 2K series for another year. While gamers are complaining the glaringly poor gameplay EA improves graphics starting with 500 licensed player kicks. another feature will be the atmospheric presence in arena across the country. It will take on an eerie realism in terms of crowd noise and mood with the atmospheric engine. They will also bring back the DNA system which maintains the most accurate rosters on an up to the minute basis . NBA Live will be brought to PS3, PSP and XBox 360 this fall.

7 News reports "Miami Police have released surveillance video of four armed men storming into a barber shop and attacking a local entertainer before robbing him. Police said four black males between the ages of 18 and 25 years old invaded a barber shop on July 29 where Opa-Locka rapper, "Brisco", was getting his hair cut. The armed subjects ordered the employees and customers to the floor inside the shop located at 6301 Northwest Sixth Avenue. Student Sued For $675,00 Worth of Downloads

College Student, Joell Tenebaum was hit with a six hundred and seventy-five thousand dollar fine for downloading music from the website similar to napster called Kazaa. Kazaa is file sharing network that allowed users to share and transfer mp3's via the internet. In 2001 Napster was sued by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for $26 million dollars for past, unauthorized usees of music, as well as an advance against future licensing royalties of $10 million dollars. On June 3rd, 2002 Napster filed for Chapter 11 protection under United Staes bankruptcy laws.
Knowing all this Joell didn't think twice about stealing music from artist. Me being a strong supporter of the record industry I feel that yes he should be sued but maybe his punishment is a little to harsh. I mean $675,000 artist aren't even selling that much nowadays. What do think, do you think the punishment fits the crime and do think the RIAA should go after Kazaa?

UPDATE : Chris Brown Sentencing

Twenty year old Chris Brown was to appear in court today for sentencing. Lucky for him his sentencing was delayed which means he will get later start on things, which isn't so lucky. He is to be sentenced 5 years probation and 1,400 hours of community service. Los Angeles Judge Patricia Schnegg delayed the sentencing because she wants documents verifying he will do hard labor for his community service in Virginia. "I do not favor community service," said Schnegg, explaining that she wants to see Breezy outdoors picking up liter or abating graffiti.In addition or should I say subtraction, Rihanna's attorney plans or has already asked the Judge to remove the 50 yard protection order which prohibited C.Breezy from getting closer to Rihanna to possibly rekindle they're flame. It has been reported that the two were booked in the same hotel recently, probably the flame never went out. The court date has postponed for one month.

To be quite honest this begins early in urban communities, young black children get a sense of "good hair" being long and straight. I'm not got going to lie I to use to wish my hair was straight or would curl up like them half breeds, lol, but truth of the matter is my hair is far from it. this is going to be great movie something to go see with your significant other or even a great family movie depending on the rating.

It has been reported in music news that singer Sisqo from the r&b group Dru Hill had sexual intercourse with a 14yr. old child which she conceived from the statutory rape in 1999. Chris Brown is to appear on Larry King Show later on this week. This will be the first time Chris has actually went publicly to talk about the whole him and Rihanna incident. Undeserving Reality Shows

I have to say just about every Reality Television Show is undeserving. Think about it, is becoming a Reality TV star a real accomplishment? Sure for those who are in the acting field and just totally gave up and went the easy route and auditioned for let's say I Love New York or the infamous Flavor of Love. I'm sure most of us had caught an episode or two but for those who haven't, trust me you're not missing anything. But on the truthful side Reality TV limits acting while some thespians thrive so their name could be on the ballot for an Oscar someday. For example lets take Tiffany "New York" Pollard, remember her last series was her trying to pursue in a real acting career and get away from Reality TV. Well........She flopped like we all expected. Sure she landed that 1 line roll in Ice Cube's First Sunday, but I'm sure she was there just because "New York" was relevant not Tiffany Pollard.
Which brings me to today's topic. T.I.'s daughter, Zonnique and Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae will be airng they're new reality show which we do not have the name yet. In fact, the production company is still pitching what will be a show that follows the girl group that is formed by the rappers' daughters. The name of their group is the OMG Girlz. The production company backing the group has worked with 50 Cent, Paris Hilton and also T.I.'s Road to Redemption. Once the production finds a network to air the show on, prepare to be hearing about this for the rest of the year, whether it being 2009 or 2010. We will keep you updated as we get more on this story.
But don't think I'm done just yet (nope), our next contestant we might be fond of being he was the BIG CRYBABY on MTV's My Sweet Sixteen. First let me get this off my chest, men or young men don't have sweet sixteens they have a birthday but for the son of record executive L.A. Reid, Aaron Reid insisted his stay sweet. Yep, who heard me right Aaron Reid and Reap Productions has hooked up to by behind the scenes and follow Aaron as he embarks on his music producing career. Aaron goes to say in a preview trailer, "That he doesn't want anything to be handed to him." Sad to say that no matter if he knows it or not, things will be handed to him. Perfect example is JoJo Simmons, he asked for the same thing and landed a record deal with that hot garbage. Sure the label didn't say, "we're going to sign you because your father is Joseph Simmons" but in back of their mind they're going "ch-ching." See labels nowadays need assurance that their investment with their artist is worth while and will be able to get paid back if your sales don't recoup the money that the label has spent for promos, manufacturing, studio time and much more that comes with an successful album. With fathers like L.A. Reid and Joseph "Rev Run" Simmons not to mention Russell Simmons these labels know who you are and what you bring to the table, most of all your father, his bank account and his connections that some of these labels couldn't get if their life depended on it. Your father is not going to want to see you fail and with chalupa like these dudes the sky will fall before their assets. This is trailer..........

Now back to the situation at hand. I'm not knocking Reality TV, some of those shows are actually entertaining as a matter of fact Run's House is the iish. But as artist thats not you're avenue especially if you have been in the public eye before the show, but this absolutely my personal opinion. Another reality I was digging was Shwazey, true Cisco Adler has ties but his ties are not relevant in the urban community, catch my drift. The last point I wanted to make was acting is an art, now if you wanna promote your band do it how every other artist has to do it, from the ground up and the last time I checked the ground wasn't on television with 3 million viewers, ya'diiig. But now acting is an art for all of my inspiring actresses and actors to be, I know they must get them angry seeing people mock and try to imitate what they do for a living. I'm sure that's like Hip Hop, rap artist saying the art is being ruined stating "hip hop is dead." So to end my topic with a question like hip hop nay-sayers do you think the art of acting is dying?

Well, the 24hr. madnees must of went into overtime because from the looks of things Stephon is still going at it. Now, I haven't been watching The Marbury/Truman Show minute by minute, just been getting updates from other bloggers or video sites. So I'm not sure if this video was recorded before or after he went on Hollywood TV ranting about ESPN making a fool out of him which clearly he did himself. Honestly I think Marbury is weeping the benefits of money and fame served with a side of boredom which leads into drugs and a lot of other deadly acts. Drake Breaks More Then Hearts

Last night I gave you this pic of Drizzy Drake taking an ungrateful fall at "America's Most Wanted" Music Festival. I couldn't say much because I didn't have the full story and had to rush to work in minutes time. Funny thing is me and my cousin predicted this weeks ago. We knew Drake was going to have a chain of f**k ups after BET banned airing his performance in the future ( meaning anytime they air the 09 BET Award cereomny Drakes performance won't be included ). As a blogger/internet journalist I try not to give my opinions on artist especially those who have a buzz like Drake but I have to call it like I see it or FLYSWAG wouldn't be oringinal. Back to the chain of Drizzy's f**k ups, first it was the direspectful performance at the BET Awards/Michael Jackson tribute. Second is when he f**ked up and Kanye direct his solovideo debut. Personally the video wasn't in context of Drake's lyrics and while trying to be different from every "rump shakin" video it was just the opposite........tig-o-bitties bouncin' all in my screen. He apologized for both but why apologize do you, if that's really you people will come to love you and understand your art. I feel he compromises to much which takes me to his third and biggest f**k up besides last nights fall. Drake was on his way to be #1, I mean bigger than Wayne could ever imagine but since he put his John Hancock on that Young Money contract he will always be second. He might be an ill r&b artist on the label but when it comes down to it Wayne will be the bread winner. Don't get me wrong I don't wanna seem like a President of Hate Drake Club. Drake is very talented, so talented I think he writes Lil' Wayne's lyrics and to be quite honest I think Lil' Wayne has been using Drake's style since he switched to using auto-tune, but hey who knows these are just my thoughts. Yea' Drake's contract isn't like most and yea' he got a whole lot of money but honestly I thought Drake was going to come out as a different artist what he doing has been done and quite frankly if it comes down to a dope rap artist and nice vocals get a whiff of Trey Songs, the boy is nice and he's doing him. My last point is as a fan of hip-hop, jazz, rock, r&b and just about anything good and creative Drake doesn't sound like Drake. It's been speculated since Drake was a co-star on "Degrassi" he might be acting, Well, in a sense I believe that is true. Yes those are his lyric but he's idolizing another artist , who in which I'm not going to mention his name ( you figure it out ).
So, like I was saying before I went on my Drake rant, after I got off work I needed to know what was going on with this fall. So I searched everywhere for a better picture or even footage and came across this..............

I sat up with my cousin and analyzed this video for what it really might be. Seems like Drake's ACL might be out of comission forever. It was reported that doctor's told him it was unsafe to be onstage. Drake previously hurt ACL "trying to get in touch with his inner Kobe," Drake told Alex Chung.

But now give me your opinion on Drizy Drake and tell me do you think my perspective of Drake is wrong and why ?

Kanye, King of Pop?

Kanye has been a provocative figure in the media in the years past, but this has to be the most outlandish thing I have ever heard. Mr. West has recently deemed himself capable of being the next “King of Pop” following Michael Jackson’s death. He has even gone far enough as to ask theJackson family for their blessing as he carries on the torch. We all love Kanye for his innovativeness and his flair, but he is in no position to claim the “King of Pop” title now or never. After much thought and discussion with others, I came to three compelling reasons as to why this is never possible for Kanye:

1. Kanye cannot sing. Though most pop music today does not require good singers in the first place, Auto-Tune does not make up for the vocal talent he lacks.

2. Kanye does not dance. Who knows, he may have some moves hidden that we do not know about. But until those are showcased, ‘Ye cannot possibly think he can fill Michael’s shoes.

3. Michael made Thriller, plain and simple. Kanye has had his share of billboard hits, and we’ll always remember him for his Through the Wire and Heartless singles, but none of his songs have had the same impact as Thriller.

Enough Said.

Now Kanye will remain one of the industry’s greats, but he may be getting ahead of himself with the “King of Pop” announcement. Go with what you know ‘Ye! BIGGUPS 2 HD 4 THE CUSTOM PIC.

Well, who didn't see this coming? Eminem has released his response to Mariah Carey's "Obssessed." Speculations that Carey's career might be over after this but if I'm sure Nick is questioning their marriage.
For my late bloomers, Mariah Carey's new single "Obsessed" music video has an imitation Em in it which she is implying that Em is obsessed with her. I guess that didn't sit to well Mr. Mathers he goes in saying that him and Mariah had something at one time but either she's in denial or she just doesn't remember. So our question for this blog is do you think Mariah gave Em the nookie? Let us know, personally I think so. Why would Em just come off with that he boinked Mariah. Next question do you think Nick Cannon is going to get involved? This one I don't know about Listen to the track below.

Minaj Stuck Between A Rock & A Hard Place

The recording industry isn't what it's all made up to be. A lot record executives, artist, producers and just about anybody in the business seem to have a whole lot of heart until thing don't go their way, then they turn into biggest crybabies, haters and probably everything that you wouldn't wanna be labeled as, here's one to sum it all up "bitchassness."
In recent hip hop news female rapper Nicki Minaj has fell victim of such acts. Minaj is signed to Cash Money's Young Money which Lil Weezy is Chief Executive of Operations. I just read a blog
(BIGGUPS 2 XILLA) that left me baffled. I guess the Minaj has some bad company as some would call it. Minaj is close friends with rapper Gucci Mane and his manager Deb Antney. Supposedly artist managers Cortez & Gee (who also manages Drake, Kanye West & Young Jeezy) has told Nicki she can't have ties with Gucci and Deb and be on tour with Jeezy. For those who are late Young Jeezy has put a price on Gucci before which didn't turn out as planned.Corte & Gee also told Minaj that Wayne would not fuck with her if she's managed by an outside company.
It wasn't said if Cortez & Gee are trying to manage the Minaj but it sure does seem like it.
Xilla made the analogy " you couldn't tour with Biggie and be down with Pac's team, now could you?"
Minaj and Gucci have recorded plenty of songs together "Pussy Ni**a", "Shopaholic" and "Slumber Party" that have been released, but how about those tracks thats on the back burner.
Me personally, I can't call this one so my question to you is, do you feel that was a right call on Cortez & Gee behalf or do you think that it was foul?

Since the sudden death of Michael Jackson, we’ve all heard nothing but his revolutionary songs on the radio, and seen nothing but footage on him and his children on the news. We’ve all listened to Joe Jackson carry on in his 60 minute interviews and all wonder who that unidentified adolescent sitting in the front row at his memorial was. On a different not however, one French sculptor who has created clay replicas of people like Stevie Wonder and Mike Tyson, has recently tackled a new project—the King of Pop himself. The artist, Jean-Batispte Seckler, is creating a sculpture of a public icon, in a very public place. His decision to start his project in front of Paris’ Pompidou Center was to resemble how Jackson’s death had affected everyone. The sculpture itself will take a few weeks upon its starting on July 25, and will feature Michael from the ‘Thriller’ era. This clay replica will join the likes of several other models that have been constructed of Jackson around the world.

Alfamega Vs T.I : Round 1

Last week a letter was released on the web signed Cedric Zellers aka Alfamega. Alfamega was one of T.I's artist signed to Grand Hustle Entertainment. The letter is addressed to former boss T.I who is currently serving a year and 1 day in federal penitentiary for illegal firearms. Now I don't know exactly what happened between the two but it seems as if Alfa has alot on his mind from being publically exiled from Grand Hustle and is trying to stop matters from getting worst telling T.I. to keep his soldiers in line after a Grand Hustle artist runs up on Alfamega's 15 year old daughter with a video camera involving her in the "beef" that Grand Hustle has with her father. For those who don't know about Alfa, he was the so called "muscle" when Tip was fonking it out with D4L's Shawty Lo. In the letter he recalls plenty of occasions he's had Tip's back "I was the first person you called when you got into that altercation in LA with Shaka's DTP people. Without any questions, I was right there ready to war for you." He even mentions people questioning T.I.'s verdict, that it being so short for the charges he were convicted on. He also talks about his loyalty to T.I, he respects his business and him stating, " Even more, I still will not allow anyone disrespect you, even the dudes trying to side with me by disrespecting you on my behalf.
He gives T.I. a week to respond to his letter saying, "If you choose not to call me within that time frame, I'll know exactly where we stand. At that point, we'll separate and we can get it off like Muhammad Ali Vs Geaorge Foreman in The Rumble in the Jungle,"
The letter was dated the 22nd of July, yesterday was the 29th of July and Mega didn't waste time to throw his first blow in what he calls " 1st Round K.O " at T.I.
It is said that Alfamega is to release a 10 round (track) mixtape dissing the incarcerated rapper T.I.
My question is this, Do you attack when a man is down?
He said that beef will be lyrical which makes Alfa attacking when his man is down.
Why release a 10 track mixtape when we're not gonna get a response from T.I. until he's released from prison and that is if T.I. decides to respond. I personally think it's a bad move for Mega but being publicly exiled from a group can crush one's ego, real fast.

Marbury Need Someone 2 Lean On

While surfing the web yesterday I came across a weird yet shocking Vlog (video blog). In the viral video it show NBA Basket ball player Stephon Marbury in where it seems to be his humble abode. In the beginning of the video he seems pretty cool, calm and coolective. So it starts off with him listening to some r&b/rap song. 12 seconds into the video he changes the track to a Kirk Franklin's lean on me and that's when matters only get worse. While the song is coming on he starts to get amped up about something (who knows....?) while making weird gestures with his arms swinging them back and forth. Soon after he bows his head and starts to what it seems like pray or meditate. About 20 seconds of his head bowed he comes up with tears all oner his face, crying. Huh? If you're wondering, so am I. The video is about 5mins 30secs, besides the minute he spent to work up some crocodile tears the rest of the video is him bawling and NO I don't mean balling but actually crying as Eddie Murphy had took his ice cream.

Thoughts started to race through my mind thinking did Marbury really just have a breakdown and for what? Then I started to think he probably just need some attention and doen't he still get endorsed by And1, he's probably trying to land a tv gig? Why, why, why is all I can think of. Stephon I believe is the 2nd highest point guard in the league pulling in 20.8 million dollars. So after watching the video I was going to see what was going to make of it, and then I come across this.........

J. Cole's "The Warm Up" LEAKED !!!

I had already been listening to the mixtape for almost a month and still I had no choice but to nod my head and say, " Yep, a breathe of fresh air." Kardashian & Bush Call It Quits

We all know who Kim Kardashian is and if not she's the daughter of attorney Robert Kardashian, O.J. Simpson's attorney during O.J's murder trial. But that is not why Kim is famous. A few years back her and r&b singer Ray J had mead a sex tape which got exposed to the public. Well in 2007 Kim and NFL's most anticipated rookie Reggie Bush have been dating. Seems like they've had a nice run, just last week Uncle Rush was tweeting about the two in Africa for his fundraiser. But like the saying goes " All good things must come to an end." It was reported earlier today that Kim and Reggie has called it quit stating that Reggie has been cheating on Kim during the whole relationship. Kim's rep denies the rumor, an insider tells US magazine "Nobody cheated. This is just a case of conflicting schedules and their lives going in different directions." But we've all heard that before.

Jay Meets Westwood ( Part 2 )

For a couple of days now on just about every hip-hop blogsite this Tim Westwood and Jay-Z interview has been been buzzin' around the internet so much that Drizzy's name seems to be so far gone. For those who aren't familiar with Tim Westwood he is an English Disc Jockey in the UK, anybody who is somebody does their promotion with Tim whether it be a tour or release. He is also a television presenter, presenting a UK version of MTV's Pimp My Ride.
This isn't the first time the rapper/CEO and radio personality have hooked up. Radio 1 ( the name of Tim Westwoods company ) went backstage when Jay was performing in Glastonbury last year.
In this recent interview Jay speaks on the Rihanna and Chris brown incident saying he hasn't said anything about the situation " live or behind the scenes " and anything that was said on his behalf previously before 7/21/09 was just rumors. He did say " I don't agee with what he did and that's it." He also claims that he didn't pull Chris Brown's BET performance for the 2009 award ceremony stating " let me categorically deny that" and when asked about his so-called beef with the rapper Game he laughs saying " tell the groupie to get over it."
I initially wasn't going to cover the interview but being that Jay just released his new single featuring Rihanna and Kanye West I thought why not give you the whole package.
The two also converse about Drake and shared memories of the " King of Pop ."

Young Money is America's Most Wanted

Young Money's "America's Most Wanted" tour kicks off tomorrow in Scanton,Pennsylvania at the Toyota Pavillion. The tour is expected to be one of the hottest tours this year with the likes of Soulja Boy, Young Jeezy, Jeremiah( Def Jam's new artist ) and of course Young Mulaaa baaabyyyy! That's right all of Young Money will be on the ticket. I assume they'll be promoting their new upcoming project the Young Money Collaboration Album while Lil Chuckee, Twist and Shanell many others will be debuting new songs also. The tour is set out to be a 28 show run in 20 states starting July 27th and ending September 4th. Young Money has drafted more soldiers to their roster so expect to see Tyga and Omarion rocking with the Young Money familia. Welcome 2 the SlaughterHouse

Slaughterhouse....Mmm, how can I describe these guys? The underdogs, industry rejects, umm....the bad boys of hip hop but most importantly the most lyrical in the game. Slaughterhouse is a new hip hop group. Though a rookie group the members are all veterans at their pen game and even a more novice freestyle. The group consist of "Jumpoff" Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Royace Da' 5'9. Each member has history ( his story ) in the rap game.

Joe budden birthname Joseph Anthony Budden II hails from Jersey City, New Jersey and first came on the scene in 2003 with "Drop, Drop". The song didn't get as much recognition as his next single "Pump It Up" which officially put Budden on the map. The song was fast-pace, something you'll here at a N.B.A halftime, as a matter of fact you probably have
( I know I have ). The song was a commercial success but it drowned the real sound of Joe and his initial image. I've seen Joe in a youtube video stating that people only know him for"Pump it Up" and there's so much more to him ( lyrically) and he's right.

Next we have the ordinary type guy Joell Ortiz, whose emceeing are far from an ordinary
statement. The Brooklyn rapper signed toDr. Dre's Aftermath Records and released his debut The brick ( Bodega Chronicles ) in April 2007. The following year Joell departed from the label. He's been keeping his name heavy in the game by releasing mixtape after mixtape. He recently created a buzz by making a video trailer for his new album Free Agent which hasn't been set an official release date. He is now signed to E1 Music an independent label distributed by Universal Music Group. Ortiz is no gimmick just straight lyrics.

Next up banging is Crooked I from Long Beach, CA. For those who thought the west coast rap was just guns, colors and drugs, think again. Crooked I has been around for ages signed to Death Row Records until making the call to start his own label Dynasty Records. On Crooked never got the proper shot. Being bounced around and negotiating with labels, Crooked is best known for his guest appearances. He has 2 unreleased albums and 6 official mixtapes. In early 2 thousand he was negotiating with Dr. Dre to be put on Dre's Death RowAftermath label. He also had talks with other major record labels who wanted to sign him, but they too were waiting for Dr. Dre's Chronic 2001 to release before signing another West Coast artist.

Last but definitely not the least is Royce Da 5'9 from the "D" ( Detroit ). Royce was once part of rapper Eminem's entourage D12. It was rumored the Royce and D12 had a fall out soon after Em had got signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath label. Besides the beef 5'9 is known for writing for likes of P.Diddy and Dr.Dre. To date Royce has 5 studio albums and one set to release September 22, 2009. Not be rude but they all sound like rejects? Probably as far as their story goes but when it comes to setting the booth on fire these guys are pyromaniacs. There's no telling how all four hooked up, I would like to think that the stars must of been in alignment when they did. With Dr. Dre's name being mentioned so much I wonder is Slaughterhouse a Dre creation. Slaughterhouse comes from an era of emcees battling keeping them witty with punchlines and and at an extreme level of cleverness. Royce tells XXLmag.com in a recent interview, “It’s definitely not going to just be us kicking verses back to back to back for a whole album."
Slaughterhouse’s self-titled debut album. will feature sung hooks from Pharoahe and Novel, on two separate tracks. The M.O.P.-featured buzz single, “Woodstock (Hood Hop),” will not be included on the album. Pharoahe Monch and Novel will be the only guests featured on on the self-titled debut album. Producers include Emile, Streetrunner, Focus and DJ Khalil, who produced the album’s most recent leak, “Cuckoo.” The group has released their first video "The One" which will be the first single on the album which is to be released August 11, 2009.

Diddy Gets Dirty with Dawn N Kalenna

We should of seen this coming, actually we probably did see it coming it was just a matter of time. What will Diddy do next? That should be the name of the next realty television venture he set his self on. While surfing the web ( as I always do) to bring you the flyest stories I crashed into a silent wave and caught rapper, CEO Sean "P.Diddy" Combs on what he calls P.TwittyTV via Youtube. P.TwittyTV? I have no idea, I assume it's the name of his youtube channel ( where does this guy come up with this stuff? ). Accompanying him in the video is Dawn Richards former Danity Kane member and R&B singer Kalenna. In the video he goes to say he has a "special, special announcement..as a matter of fact a special introduction. I know, um, you know the words been bubblin' about Dirty Money, and I, and I wanna like kinda set the record straight". ***Note that, yes I do blog and tend put myself in a lot of celebrity biz but what words bublin' about where what,uh, who?*** Right into the video he conceals to us what and who Dirty Money is and are. Dirty Money makes up of Diddy, Dawn and Kalenna. He said that they were a group but he makes it seem like their just assissting him with vocals for his ne album "Last Train to Paris". There's no telling when the album will drop or how far are they with recording but Diddy says, hewants to take it back when it were trios ( 2 girl and 1 guy or vice versa ).

I predict there won't be no mishaps being both of the ladies know that Diddy will fire them at the first sign of "bitchassness". Check out the video below!!!!

Jerkin' All The Way 2 the Bank

Hip hop has had its share of changes over the years, and its sub-groups. Among these, the nationwide battle has lived on since the days of Biggie and ‘Pac, as the East, West, and recently the Central States and Dirty South have made their influence in the game. The West Coast underwent a number of hip hop transformations, from the era of Snoop and Dr. Dre to the Bay Area hyphy movement. Now, emerging from the urban streets of Los Angeles, there is a new dance craze and a hit song to go along with it. If you haven’t heard about it already, it is called jerkin’.

While at first seeming suspect, the word has no ties to anything of a sexual nature, despite the fact we hear teenagers at parties screaming, “Oh look, he’s jerkin’ it!” or “I bet I could jerk harder than you!” The term derives from the definition meaning uncompromising, and is clearly expressed in the New Boyz hit single You’re a Jerk. Along with the new jerkin’ trend, comes an entire fashion statement. As shown in the video (below), the ones adopting this habit have also adopted a new wardrobe of brightly colored clothing and emo-type skinny pants.
As it takes the hip hop community by storm, there are many people still less elated about the new addition to the hip hop culture. Will you see me jerkin’ at the club? Hell nah, but by the way the New Boyz stepped on the scene, they made it loud and clear that their jerkin’ fad is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Jay-Z Fills the Shoes

With the saddening news of Beastie Boy Adam Yauch being diagnosed with cancer (more on the story below), the group therefore cancelled their performance at the upcoming All Points West festival. Replacing the group will be Jay-Z, who will be the only hip hop act performing at the festival. However, this is nothing new for Hova, as he has done shows overseas in front of a predominately rock-loving crowd. This will be Jay’s American music festival debut though, as he is lined up to be performing along with Coldplay, My Bloody Valentine, Fleet Foxes, and plenty other bands.
The opportunity is a good one for Jay-Z, as his Blueprint 3 will be released in the upcoming months. Perhaps bad news for 50 Cent, who plans to go heads with Jay with his own album, titled Before I Self Destruct. We have no doubt that Jay-Z will receive appreciation for filling the heavy role of replacing the Beastie Boys.

Some Expensive Milkshake

So we've been giving you the follow up on Kelis' pregnancy and her divorce with rapper Nas. Well, yesterday TMZ reported that Kelis was in labor while having to miss out on her court appearance for her spousal support/child support she's asking Nas and also Nas' joint custody counter-claim. CONGRATS to the Jones Family or should I say to the two. It was flying around the web that Nas wasn't present at the birth. The statements were true but a spokesperson for Nas says that he was celebrating in his hometown, Queens, with some of his friends. Nas also released a video via Video Music Box saying, "My son is born today, so shout-out to my son, Knight."
Their New Baby Boy, Knight Jones. Born July 22nd around 9PM at a hospital in New York cityKelis tweeted, "he’s 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth…I was in labor for 3 of the longest most painful days of my life."
So I bet since Nas was excused from yesterday's court date he thought he was off the hook. Ha, nope not at all. TMZ just gave updates saying a judge decided Nas has to pay Kelis $55,000 a month in combined spousal and child support -- plus the mortgage on their L.A. residence. Nas also has to pay Kelis -- who gave birth last night to the couple's only child -- for the baby nurse, prenatal expenses and medical insurance. The rapper also has to pay $35,000 Laura Wasser, Kelis' Lawyer.
This story I have to say was a good, bad, up, down kinda story. Here at FLYSWAG we would like to say congratulations to the two. I bet Nas is Like " I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW !!!"

LMF@O. Okay, so yesterday just about every blogger was blogging about Mrs. Karrine "Super-Head" Steffans-McCrary. Personally I'm not a big fan of "scaliwags", especially one who can't be trusted. So I'm flying around the net trying to find something other than this Boston steuardist to blog and sad to say I found nothing. No wait, I'm sorry we got a hold of the Lebron video for you(below this article). So I got inquisitive and started to wonder, why was Super-Head in the media again? We know she's releasing her new book The Vixen Maunual and has a DVD ( Kiss & Tail ) coming out, Okay she's doing some promo...so. So as usual I did my research. Come to find out Ms. Karrine was interviewed by my city wake-up talk show Good Day Sacramento on the CW network. Damn thats all I could think. How could I miss that? I was up blogging trying to find a story and it was on my tube better yet it was in my city via satellite ( to bad I don't watch television ).

Well this interview was hilarious being that I've seen Good Day Sacramento and I'm familiar with the people and their characteristics and they went HAAARD on Karrine. Usually tv anchor Marianna McClary is a "happy go lucky" kinda gal and as for Nick Toma, I've never seen him have a bad day. But it seems that Karrine knows how to push those bttons. When asked about her background and assuming the book had something to do with it calling it a "how to guide" on how to seduce men, Karrine got "a little offended". While they all tried to laugh it off, you can sense the tension via satellite. Good Day then starts the interview asking questions trying to get a better understanding of the book for themselves and their viewers then that's when everything goes sour.

Ricky Williams was always a fan favorite as one of the NFL’s premier running backs for several years. As the years progressed, Williams became synonymous with another activity other than bulldozing the league’s best defensive backs—that activity is smoking marijuana. Sure, the majority of the United States has caught onto the habit as well, but it came to a point where you couldn’t quite mention marijuana mishaps without mentioning Ricky’s name. He became known for failing the majority of his ordered drug tests, which can be numbered in the 1000’s, and became suspended on a frequent basis for it. Heck, he was probably high as a kite as he put his moves on defenders on the field.

Recently, however, Williams has taken up a new hobby away from both football and marijuana. In the near future, you may be able to set an appointment with Ricky Williams, the massage therapist. Claiming to be spiritually and physically cleansed, he and is now taking classes to become a massage therapist. Undergoing extensive soul searching, Williams persevered in order to put his weed-smoking days behind him. I don’t know about any of you, but the thought of paying Mr. Williams to relieve my stress is a little farfetched. More power to him though; do your thing Ricky!

For those who thought this was just a hip-hop or music blog, think again. We're an URBAN MEDIA BLOG meaning we cover just about anything in the media, that's if its FLY or meets our standards of having SWAG. With that being said this article is for my gamers. To be quite honest with you I'm no gamer myself. I'm the type you people play for practice or just to brag that they beat me 76 to 3....(damn I hate Madden). Lucky for me this game World of Warcraft or sometimes called, WoW for short, doesn't take sticks ( game controllers). As a matter of fact it's a computer game, a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). In laymen terms it's a virtual reality game without the 3D. In the game players control a character in a world called "Azeroth" in view (with the option of playing in first person), exploring the landscape, fighting various monsters, completing quests, and interacting with other players. World of Warcraft requires the player to pay for a subscription, either by buying game cards for a pre-selected amount of playing time, or by using a credit or debit card to pay on a regular basis.With more than 11.5 million monthly subscribers, World of Warcraft is currently the world's most-subscribed MMORPG and holds the Guinness Book of World Record for the most popular MMORPG. In April 2008, World of Warcraft was estimated to hold 62 percent of the massively multiplayer online games market. WoW is created by Blizzard Entertainment and was first introduced November 23, 1994.
That was the virtual now here's the reality. According to the New York Times Sam Raimi agreed to direct a movie based on the World of Warcraft online game and fantasy universe. If you're wondering who Mr. Raimi is? He directed 3 films in Sony's "Spider Man" series and I hear is working on a fourth installment, set for release in 2011. Raimi's signing with “World of Warcraft” makes that Spidey one of the strongest bets on the Warner schedule as early as 2012. Legendary Pictures teamed up with Warner hoping this will be it's next blockbuster franchise. It was not immediately clear when production might start on the “Warcraft” film, which would be delayed until Mr. Raimi finishes with "Spider-Man 4".

Young Woman Airs "The Business"

Just buzzed in hip-hop news today is was an exclusive interview held by AllHipHop.com. This wasn't your normal promo interview you get from some of these rappers in today's day. This was actually the type of interview us bloggers love and any rapper would dread. According to AllHipHop.com a young woman by the name of Chelsea Berry has claimed rapper Christian "Yung Berg" Ward given her the business and not that "baby, I love you" business but that "bitch, no you didn't" business.
The young woman claims last week (July 15), that her and two other of friends were at the rapper's home. While being acompanied by two of his friends, one of Berry's friends left. After her friend leaving she says her and Berg were "playing around" and he threw her into the pool. Soon after her other friend had left while she waited behind for her clothes to dry but here goes the
UH-OHH!! While waiting there W/ NOTHING BUT HER UNDERWEAR she says she began to get jealous while Yung Berg and an acquaintance "Shay" disappeared into a back room.
While being prevented to go into the back room Chelsea began to blast disrespectful comments towards the rapper. When Berg eventually came out of the back room Chelsea was in the kitchen with one of his friends. Berg is now accussing Chelsea of giving his potna "the business" and begins to hit her. “He striked me with the palm of his hand, like about three times. On my head, on my eye, and I was falling back like, ‘What did I do? What did I do?,’” Berry told AllHipHop.com exclusively. “And that’s when he told me to leave. Then [his friend] Sincere was like, ‘Calm down, I’ll give her a ride.’”

After getting into the car Berg announced he coming along for the ride hopping into the driver's side. Once in the car Berg said "were not taking her home" the he proceeds to drive. “We end up driving all the way up this hill in the middle of nowhere, I had no idea where I was at, and tells me to get out. I was crying and saying ‘I’m gonna get you back. I’m about to call my friends when I get out.’ And that’s when Berg gets out and comes over to me and says he’s sorry, and then he grabs my phone and throws it and my phone completely shattered” Chelsea states.

Leaving the incident with a black eye and no phone claimed that after being left at the hill alone approx. around 3am, she hitch-hiked until arriving home at 6 in the morning.

Being unsure of contacting authorities because of the rapper's celebrity status, she eventaully filed a police report the following evening on Thursday June 16th. The LAPD could not confirm or deny that a complaint had been filed. "We're not able to release any information unless an arrest has actually been made," Officer Faden told AllHipHop.com.

Yung Berg has not been charged with any crimes. At press time, a representative for Yung Berg could not be reached for comment.

Beastie Boy Diagnosed

Yesterday Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch posted a video via youtube apologizing to his fans the groups cancellation of their headlining shows Lollapalooza &The All Points West Festival. Accompanied by "AD-Rock" Yauch goes on to say, "The reason we're here talking is because I have some pretty heavy news to say.........About two months ago, I started feeling this little lump in my throat, like what you would feel if you have swollen glands or something like that... and so I didn't really think it was anything. But then recently, when we were over in Europe doing promotion, I started to think that I should talk to my doctor, so I ... saw him when I got back, and he sent me to a specialist. They did tests, and I actually have a form of cancer in the gland that's over here, in the parotid gland, and it's also in the lymph node right in that area( pointing behind his ear )."

So as usual I did my research and found out that 80% of salivary gland tumors occurs in parotid gland which is the largest salivary gland located just in front of the ear. Salivary glands produce saliva to keep your moisture in the mouth and also facilitate food chewing.

The condition is treatable and doctors believe he is to make a full recovery. MCA says,
"So it's a little bit of a setback — it's a pain in the ass — but this is something that's very treatable, and in most cases ... they're able to completely get rid of it, and people don't have continuing problems with it, and they've caught it early and it's not anywhere else in my body. So, that's the good news."

Due to the cancerous tumor besides upcoming tour dates Beastie Boys have postponed the release of their new album "Hot Sauce Committee, Part One album" while MCA receives treatment. Yauch is to undergo surgery and begin radiation next week. The "Hot Sauce Committee" will be the group's eighth studio album and was expected to drop September 15, 2009.

R&B singer Kelis is in labor, giving birth to a baby boy fathered by rapper Nas. The two have both filed for joint custody being that they are no longer together while Kelis also demands spousal support. Kelis tells TMZ that the multi-platinum rapper has only given her $350 since their split. In the picture the singer is 7 months prego. Chris Brown's 1st Public Apology

We are all a blur to what exatly happened that Grammy night. But by looking at the Rihanna photos posted on the web, Chris gave a her a beatdown. According to TMZ details from detective notes have been found by Fox 11. The “Disturbia” singer allegedly got a hold of Chris’ cell phone and found a 3 page text from another woman. This is where the altercation began. They started fighting and Brown attempted to push Rihanna out of the car. She was wearing her seat belt and was unable to push her out. He then started punching her and shoved her head against the passenger window. It was also noted that he was still driving while all this occured.
In the end Rihanna never pressed charges but sure enough the D.A did. Chris ended up getting off with 5 years pinformal probation. Basically meaning he can do anything he damn well please.....

Is Pun A Legacy ?

On september 15th the world will be re-introduced to platinum heavy-spitter Christopher "Big Pun" Rios in a new tribute documentary Big Pun: The Legacy. Sad to say on February 7, 2000 we lost the great emcee due to a fatal heart-attack right before the release of his sophmore LP "Yeeeah Baby". The rapper struggled with his weight most of his life, his weight had been varying during the early 90's between obese and morbidly obese. In 1995 he hooked up with Terror Squad's Fat Joe and made his 1st appearance on Joe's J.O.S.E ( Jelous Ones Still Envy ). Pun later hit the mainstream with his single "Still Not A Player" featuring r&b singer Joe. In 1998 Pun released his debut album Capital Punishment, and was the first album by a solo Latino rapper to go platinum peaking to #5 on the BillBoard 200. Capital Punishment was nominated for a Grammy but fell short to Jay-Z's Vol 2: Hard Knock Life.

The film will contain rare home footage, exclusives performances, scene interviews with Big Pun and multiple interviews with artists, actors, close friends and others who lives were influenced by the rapper.

Appearances are made by Snoop Dogg, DMX, Method Man, U-God, Terror Squad, Swizz Beats, Lox and Big Pun's wife Liza Rios.

In Related news, Liza Rios, the wife of Big Pun was featured on E's True Hollywood Story: Rappers' Wives edition. On the episode she talks about her abusive relationship with the rapper. Pun supposedly kept live video cameras in rooms of his abode. Liza states she was a battered wife for 12 years. In one clip, it shows Liza and Pun arguing. A few seconds into the clip Pun grabs a Mac10 and pistol whips Liza over the head with it. She tell E that after the death of her husband she was left to handle his business, meaning any debts and thereof forcing her and their 3 childeren to move into a homeless shelter.

Frankie : Crazy, Sexy, Cool or Crackhead ?

I was flying around the web all night trying to find out wat was buzzin' in entertainment news and I just couldn't find nothing to feed on. Then after my usual peanut cap'n crunch and english muffin ( with all the nooks and crannies, I might add ) I seen the best news of all. Supposedly Frankie, mother of R&B superstar Keyshia Cole feels like the music industry treats her like a crackhead.Why? One reason might be because she recently attacked the C of Grammy Award-Winning hip hop and R&B girl group TLC. If you still might not know who that is, I'm talking about Rozonda "Chili" Thomas. The altercation took place two weeks ago at Atlanta v103 radio personality, Ryan Cameron's 2nd Anniversary Party. Frankie recently went on Ryan's show saying, "She is misunderstood" but sources say they understand, Frankie was just 'on like iishhh.
The story goes, while Chili was in the middle of an interview Frankie ran up to her giving her a hug wanting to take picture with the superstar being Chili's biggest fan. Caught off guard Chili then gave Frankie a hug then continuing to mingle, sources say. While Chili was in the middle of conversing with rapper Yung Joc, mama Frankie went pushing guest out of the way try to get to Chili screaming "You think you better than me, huh ?...You think you better than me ?" At this time Chili unaware of why Frankie is angry. Come to find out Frankie didn't like the hug Chili had given her in return. Chili asks, "are you okay ?" Then Frankie tries to go in for the attack on more time. "Are you serious" Chili says while pushing her hand away, then Frankie shout, "That's why my daughter is better than you". CRACKHEAD !!!

How do you make a long story short? Mmmm, let's see....well for starters you only mention the highlights. But this is FLYSWAG, what would we be not giving you the full details ( here's a hint: the rest of the urban blogsites )? Exactly......

In VIBE's June/July 2009 issue they presented Best Rapper Alive ( playoff style ). In the chart VIBE had listed 128 rappers that they must of felt or considered being " the best ".
Joe Budden then makes a Vlog arguing that the list was bull iiish claiming tht VIBE paired rappers' that shouldn't of been paired and some shouldn't of even made the list. He scrolls down the playoff style chart finding himself up against hip hop pioneer Rakim saying, "I lost" implying that that isn't a match up. VIBE had also matched up artist like Wu-Tangs' O.D.B against The Roots' Black Thought, Lil' Wayne against Bow Wow match ups that are clearly not fair. Also in the video is rap conglomerate Joell Ortiz, who is filming the vlog cosigning. As Budden makes his way down the list he sees Method Man's name. Then he starts to rant and rave about how he will beat Method Man if they were to get into a lyrical scuffle.
The vlog was uploaded to Youtube and within hours getting a response to the Method Man comment. Fans of Method and supporters of Budden got a Joe Budden vs Method Man buzz started all over the web. Word must of gotten to Meth and this is when the misunderstanding started to take place. While Budden still standing a firm believer of what was said on the video & Meth hitting radio stations to promote Blackout 2 with partner in rhyme Redman, why not a better time to address the beef? Joe was also radio promoting the group Slaughterhouse which makes up of him, Joell Ortiz, Royce da5'9 and Crooked I. In rebuttal to Joe's comment Meth was at every satellite radio station feeling the need to prove to Joe and his fans that he can spit. Fans weren't doubtful, Joe maybe but it seems as if Meth might have been the one with the doubts. So while every hip hop satellite station was covering the beef and the two going back and forth arguing about who is better in today's day, nothing really became of the issue. Meth was making threats saying we can handle it in the streets after the we've battled and Joe was trying to make his point that he is better than Meth on any given day.

Alot of OG's had their opinion on Budden's remark even Busta Rhymes had said in an interview that he wanted smack Budden but Method's crew The Wu took it the hardest.
After the altercation has died down between Meth and Joe, Wu member Inspektah Deck went onstage at the Rock The Bells Concert stating that he likes Slaughterhouse and that he fucks with Joey, Royace and Crooked but "FUCK JOE BUDDEN" he yells. While getting the participation he keeps screaming, "FUCK JOE BUDDEN, FUCK JOE BUDDEN".

Joe Budden has already uploaded a video stating, "that there is no beef" between him and Meth. However Joe was at Rock The Bells when Inspektah went off screaming to the crowd "FUCK JOE BUDDEN". This is Joe's

Latoya Sings Michael "Home"

In tribute to her brother Michael Jackson, Latoya Jackson has released a song titled "Home". "Home" had been previously recorded for her family but now has a sentimental value since the occurrence of Michael Jackson's death. It had been rumored that Latoya was back in the studio working on what would be her 12th studio album called Startin' Over but there has been a delay due to the fatality. Talks of the album has been going on since 2002. In 2006 the entire was leaked to web. Sources say Jackson has had to re-work the album to bring the more up-to-date and looks forward to releasing the album late this year. The track "Home" is to be featured on the her new album however it will be available on itunes July 28th. Proceeds from "Home" will be given to Home ( a charity that Michael supported ). The charity AIDS Project Los Angeles offers bilingual (English/Spanish) services and information about HIV and AIDS treatments, prevention, testing, support groups.

Fab Does It Loso's Way

John David Jackson b.k.a the rapper Fabulous is taking his act Hollywood. Rapper turned thespian has a lead role in Desert Storm Entertainment's Loso's Way. The movie per say isn't about the life of of Mr. John Jackson or the life of the alter ego Fabulous.

The flick starts off with Fabolous and one of his hustling partners being chased through the streets. Loso evades the long arm of the law, but his homie isn't as lucky. The film then fast-forwards four years, and Loso has become a big rap artist while his friend serves time in prison and eventually gets out...Styles P plays an up-and-coming rapper named Bang, who tests Loso's resolve and street credibility by make a dis song against him. Ed Lover plays the shady head of Loso's record label, who coerces his artist to capitalize off the notoriety of being shot and turn around an LP quickly...Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss, Ryan Leslie, Juelz Santana, Paul Cain and Albe Back are all featured in the film. The DVD-only movie will be release with Fabolous' new album Loso's Way. The oringinal title of the album was Work Hard, Play Harder and set to be released June 30th but was pushed back because Fabulous wanted to accomodate his fans the pleasure of having the movie included. The release date is now July 28th.

Changing the title from Work Hard, Play Harder to Loso's Way there have been a lot of speculations that the album theme sound similar to Jay-Z's American Gangster. Fab Says, "The timing of when American Gangster came out, it gave you a different feel. It almost gave you a soundtrack to the movie versus where Carlito's Way came out in '94 so it's different."
The Album features Jay-Z in the song " Money Goes, Honey Stay ( When The Money Goes ) " produced by Jermaine Dupri. The song was actually a song that Jay recorded for his American Gangster album but it did not make the cut. Jay heard about Loso's themed album and reached out to him letting him re-vocal the song. Loso's Way also features The Dream, Jeremiah, Keri Hilson, Trey Songs and Lil Wayne with production by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. Leauge, Jermaine Dupri, The Runners, Ryan Leslie and Alchemist.

Big Boi Kast Out

New in southern hip-hop news Big Boi or as he likes to call himself "Daddy Fat Stacks" is through with recording label Jive Records of 17 years. Big Boi is the other half of the Atlanta based hip hop/funk rap duo Outkast. In an interview with EyeWeekly he tells them that he will be leaving Jive and signing to Def Jam. Finishing, " the lawyers just have to finish up their lawyering ".
But Big Boi isn't waiting for the legal team to determine when he goes back to work. His sophomore studio album Sir Luscious Left Foot : The Son of Chico Dusty has been highly anticipated throughout the country. The album was to be supposedly released with Jive for quite some time now, as a matter of fact a long time now. Remember Big Boi's collaboration with Queen of R&B Mary J. Blige in "Somethings Gotta Give"? That was a single for the album but also a political statement for 2009 election, but how long ago was that. Shame on Jive.
Boi expresses his joy working with Def Jam CEO L.A. Reid saying thats, "he been with us from the begining ".
So what's the buzz on Andre 3stack ( ..Mmmm...) everybodys' wondering? Are the two breaking up? Well. none of my sources have said anything about a fall out and if they did I probably wouldn't believe it anyway. There has been no set release date for the album but I have been informed that it will have some of the same vibe if SpeakerBoxx. The second single "Royal Flush " features Raekwon, himself and 3000.

While still in the mourning of her brother Michael, Janet Jackson must deal with another issue. According to US Weekly after 7 years of being in a relationship with music producer Jermaine Dupri. The couple have reportedly called it quits. US Weekly source says, " his friends are telling people it's over".
Jermaine was noticeably absent last week at Michaels's memorial. Rumors claim,"Dupri doesn't go to funerals." Another rumor is that "they were fighting over the his management of her career."
Neither is true. A source also tells US Weekly "They've been moving in different directions for a while."“You shouldn’t mix business with pleasure,” a friend of the former couple told the mag.
They say Janet is the more shy, stay at home type while JD like to go out and mingle.

About 2 weeks ago there was some flutter via Twitter about the Barbados "Good Girl Gone Bad" Rihanna & Bad Boys Cassie posing nude. I didn't pay to much attention to it, thinking these girls wouldn't pose nude let alone it end up on the world wide web. So as usual I did my research ( like c'mon, you expect me to pass up this one up...yeah, right ). I found no story or rumor on why the two decided to pose nude or were these photos actually leaked without their consent.
I hear first that Cassie photos are leaked.......

Decoding Jay-Z

Have you ever thought about the meaning of a rappers' line or what's the story behind one's rap ( that's if it still exists ). But for instance," Yea' Ma, your dude is back, Maybach coupe is back " expressed by rap mogul Sean "Jay-Z" Carter on "Change Clothes" featuring Pharrell, who also produced the track.
To the listeners' Jay's telling us that he is obviously back from somewhere , probably bringing a Maybach in attendance. Sounds logical right? But that was the least that was going on through the mind of the poetic genius

Last week the rapper made it known his plans for releasing a series of books, after finalizing a literary deal with Spiegel &. Grau an imprint of Random House. The hard knock Brooklyn born hustler who could re-write history with out a pen will put pen to paper to tell the story behind the song lyrics of some of his most famous tracks.
Mr. Carter says, "It’s called Decoded. I named it Decoded because I’m decoding all the lyrics from my records. I’m going to pick select ones - you know all the double entendres and things that people may have missed or may have gotten, but just want confirmation on it." Though there is no actual date for the book two be released take these two thoughts in mind.

In 2003 Jay was supposed to release a memoir The Black Book in attempt to promote his eighth studio album The Black Album. The book was co-written with journalist Dream Hampton. I hear the book was already written when Jay got cold feet and canceled its release for privacy reasons. According to hip-hop blog Nah Right, Jay say's, "I know that people really want to know about me,"in an interview with Rolling Stone.....then saying, "I thought I was OK with it, but as it got closer and closer, I said, 'What am I doing?"

On June 22nd VLAD TV uploaded an exclusive interview with video vixen Angel Lola Luv ( Trey Songs "Super Woman" Music Video ) . In the interview she gives her definition of a "Video Vixen Model and a Video Vixen Hoe/Groupie" taking shots at infamous Karrine "Super-Head" Steffans- McCrary. Oh, if you haven't heard the Video Hoe ( Oops!! ), I mean Vixen Karrine has married Darius McCrary who played "Eddie Winslow" on Family Matters. She is best noticed for her best-seller "tell all books" such as Confessions Of A Video Vixen and The Vixen Diaries where she writes about having past intimacies with well known figures in hip hop, married and single.
In the VLAD exclusive Luv states, "the perception that people have of video vixens are fu**ed up" due to what Karrine Steffans has done to the industry, exposing herself then exposing associates.
Angel later says, "I don't respect anything that she ( Steffans ) has done, how she went about it. I mean if you wanna do you on a personal tip.....ya' personal shit is ya' personal shit.....She wasn't even a video vixen, people didn't know her name until she wrote that book( Confessions of a Video Vixen). I wouldn't consider her a video vixen".
In a more recent interview Karrine was asked about the her and Lola. "I don't respond to that", she states. " I don't even know who she ( Lola ) is, but she knows who I am. That means I'm famous and she's not. So automatically, we don’t have to discuss her. We just go back to talking about me because I’m the only famous person in this sentence. That’s that.”
There has been no solid reason why the two....or the one has decided to go hard all of a sudden but I smell publicity stunt. I'm saying.... What are you really arguing about because from this standpoint it looks like it's" Who's the Hoe-ish Competition ". Even though Lola claims she has a clean slate saying "you can check my record" she must be preparing to take someone's title, Mmmmm ( Thinking. ).

2 years ago, multi-platinum rap artist 50cent told the world that if he sold less records than Kanye West, he would retire. That year was a frenzy seeing who's beef will get roasted and what will we have to expect from the music industry after all this. The beef wasn't your ordinary name calling or dissing each other on tracks. The beef itself was generated around the release dates of both artist albums. Ye's Graduation and 50's Curtis were set to drop on the same day. In result Kanye came out on top with 957,000 copies sold in the first week killing 50's 691,000.
2 years later 50 is still rapping and now plans to go heads with Roc-A-Fella CEO, Sean "Jay-Z" Carter's Blueprint 3. Is this a desperate attempt for 50 being he didn't put a halt on Florida's boss Rick Ross' career like he intended. Ross' Deeper Than Rap debuted #1 on Billboard Chart selling 158,000 copies in its first week. I know that may seem miniature compared to 691,000 but in today's wide world of the web album sales have dropped drastically due to free downloading and piracy.
This is nothing new to Jay, he released the first installment to the Blueprint on this very same tragic memorial September 11. In 2001 Jay's Blueprint sold over 426,000 copies in its first week despite being shadowed by the 9/11 attacks becoming Jay-Z's fourth consecutive album to reach number one on the BillBoard 200. The Blueprint has been certified 2x platinum w/ sales soaring over 2 million in the U.S. Jay-Z later released The Black Album receiving a similar type of success debuting at #1 with nearly 463,000 sold in its first week and over 4 million to date.
These two have to be the clever when it comes to marketing their project. 50 has been talking about his new album Before I Self Destruct for some time now, but has never gave us a release date ( guess he was waiting for the moment).
So why now?
With the sales of albums dropping this is the best marketing strategy the two could come up with. 50 cent's Thisis50.com ( a social network known for beefing ) is an innovative way to get his fans fired up about his new release( he literally built an army of Rick Ross Haters ). Jay-Z on the other hand isn't your social networking, clown around type guy, but has recently leaked "D.O.A ( Death of Auto-tune )", the first single off his Blueprint 3, taking throne to a nation of true hip hop heads.
Both are familiar with success from the same type of business ventures after their music has taken off.
Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Brand and 50's G-Unit Brand have profited over multi-millions over the years. They have both expressed to their fans their motives to retire, but never fell through.
So this will be the ultimate. Last time it was G.O.O.D Music against what I call "Hardcore Rap".
This time it's 2 New Yorkians who have both claimed their territory in hip hop. This isn't just for hip hop they're fighting to see who's the real King of New York.

Boy I swear, when you think you've seen it all the entertainment industry is the first to rob you of those thoughts. Well, guess who's back on the scene but this time she's not screaming " crack is wack " or "Ohh, Bobby". Yup, you guessed it Miss Whitney Houston. Honestly, by looking at her new album cover "I Look To You" I wouldn't of been able to tell you who it was, good thing it had her name on it.
"I Look To You" is Houston's 7th studio album collaborating with Swizz Beats, Alicia Keys, Sean Garrett and vocal & production contributions by Akon and R.Kelly. Arista's CEO, Clive Davis announced in 2007 that Houston will be back in recording studio to record her 1st album in 6 years. The album release date is set for September 1, 2009 under Arista in association with J Records.
It was until earlier this year Whitney has been on stage with her own set at Clive Davis' "Pre-Grammy Gala". When asked by Davis to perform songs off her new album I Look To You she belted out her classics, "I Will Always Love You", "I Believe In You & Me", "It's Not Right But It's Okay" and closing the set with a buoyant variant of "I'm Every Woman".
Whitney comes from a background of prominent soul singers, including mother Cissy Houston, cousins Dee Dee & Dionne Warwick and godmother Aretha Franklin.

Chester French : Lennon & McCartney

Who is Chester French?
A pop/indie/rock duo from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Seems pretty simple, right? Wrong. To my knowledge Maxwell Drummey and David-Andrew Wallach bka D.A., the two men who make up Chester French, have both gotten their Masters at Harvard University. And that's not simple at all. The two met at Harvard University forming a 5 piece band which also included Justin Hurwitz (piano), Michael William Judge (bass) and Damien Sayre Chazelle (drums). Wallach originally auditioned as the group's drummer, but when he lost the job to Chazelle, decided to try singing. The group's name come from the famous sculptor Daniel Chester French.
They realized that the material went way beyond the basic guitar-bass-drums-piano format of the band, so the group made the executive decision of becoming a duo. D.A. handles most of the vocals while Maxwell does most of the music using multiple instruments.
Their sound is not what you're normally expect from two college students. They have more of British rock/soul influence often compared to the Beatles with a a pinch of hip hop. They released "She Loves Everybody" as their debut single off the their demo which had caught the ears of Super Producer Kanye West, then later finding it in the hands of Pharrell Williams. The two had started a bidding war for the band where Pharrell had came out on top. After getting the deal with Star Trak/Interscope during their senior year. After graduating they both moved to L.A to record their album Love the Future, which was released earlier this year. The group released a mixtape two days before their album dropped called "Get Familiar w/ith Chester French: JacquezJamz Vol.1" hosted by Clinton Sparks.

LaToya Out For " The Mail "

LaToya Jackson is back at her old ways willing to say or do anything for that paper. Recently British tabloid The Mail published an article in which Latoya Jackson, sister of late legendary pop star Michael Jackson, made accusations that her brother Michael was murdered stating, "I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start.......Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people." Also claiming that Michael's "shadowy entourage" was only out for his money. She also tells The Mail, that her family has ordered a private autopsy.
The editor who interviewed says she asked Latoya, "Are you sure the word 'murder' is what you want to use?" Latoya implies that she purposely chose that word.
While rumors hit media saying that Ms. Jackson did the interview for a financial incentive, the interviewer states that Ms.Jackson was only concerned with justice for her brother's death.
It has been reported that the pop icon had been addicted to sleeping pills and sometimes anesthesia, helping him get to sleep. It has also been reported that Michael was not only getting treated by 1 doctor but by 3, all prescribing him to different prescriptions. The doctors and physicians that treated Michael are going under way of investigation, police are searching for medical records to help identify each doctor's prescription.
So without having any solid proof Latoya has made these allegations while others may believe it was sad case of an overdose.
What has media all roweled up is that this is not the first act of Latoya making herself the black sheep. In the early 90's The Jackson Family exiled sister Latoya Jackson for going on national television accusing Michael of child molestation, while he was undergoing trial for a child molestation case. Then she gets caught up in a strip club scandal where in which her manager tried to force her to strip at club in Cleveland, Ohio. Just before then the singer in 1980, Jackson ventured into modeling. She stated that it was her own decision to pose nude for Playboy. However, according to several later interviews Jackson maintains that the 'playboy' incident was not her idea and what she did (and the things she stated in her book) was under the control and threat of violence from her then husband, Gordon. She then later took back what was said in the book.
So is Latoya Jackson out for money ?
Comments have been posted around the story saying that, " just because she was paid, doesn't mean she lied " about her brother's Michael murder.
In Michael's last days Latoya has been the closes to him. Being the first family member to arrive at the Southern California home in which Michael was found in comatose from a cardiac arrest. Seem like she would know Michael best, as if he would confide in his sister telling her things he probably couldn't tell his "shadowy entourage".

Imagine growing up in a family where your aunt, uncles and even father are America's most comedic family of all time. I bet everyday is an April Fools Day. For 27 year old, Damon Wayan, Jr. son of funny man Damon Wayans( In Living Color, My Wife & Kids ), there is no imagining . Wayans, Jr. got his break at the age twelve playing Young Kevin alongside his father in Blankman. Later joining his father in the hit My Wife & Kids, being a writer for the show and playing Damon son, Junior's friend, John. Hope you got that cause I certainly didn't.
Mr. Wayans, Jr. have been keeping the Wayans torch lit for quite some time now. He's been featured on Def Comedy Jam and recently getting the main role in Dance Flick, his uncles' latest funny parody flick.
Wayans is proving to be an elite comic taking topics I've seen no other comic touch on.
For instance, Wayan's plays with the thought of getting " bird brain ". The joke is funny itself but the facial expressions he brings to his sketch lets me know he learned from some of the best.
Fan or No Fan of comedy this guy is guaranteed to make you laugh. Whether it be him imitating a pigeon giving head or playing the hardcore, gay-fish on the phone, he will have you( rotf ).

Her Milkshake Brung 'Em and Hung 'Em

After 7yrs. multi-platinum Rapper Nas and R&B sensation Kelis have finally called it quits. Kelis' spokesperson told VIBE Magazine, " I can confirm she has filed a divorce." Later saying, " We request the media respect her privacy during this very difficult time. "
Nas announced to MTV that wife Kelis was expecting telling the 1,000,000 plus viewers how happy he was. She is expected to give birth any day now.
Now almost a year later the couple are having irreconcilable differences. Kelis claims she's broke and have " run out of money ". She also says Nas is looted out getting 11 million for his last album deal with Def Jam while he claims it wasn't even half of that, more like 4. He says he makes close to $147,165.00 a month and needs $71,371.96 a month, which includes $10,000 a month in clothing/hair/toiletries/personal effects.
Nas has filed his response to Kelis' divorce asking the judge not to grant his pregnant wife spousal support. They are both asking for joint custody of their unborn child.
The two have a quite a history together even sharing the same track at times. Kelis guest appeared on Nas' Hip-Hop Is Dead and Nas has also featured on Kelis' Tasty.
Some say the real reason for Kelis' divorce decision is because she expects her husband Nas cheating on her.

Clever and melodic rhymes make up Nicki’s presence on hip hop’s latest jams, as her most recent mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty has received a positive response upon its release. A member of Young Money, she shows a promising future, often being labeled the savior of female rap. Her appearance in Wayne’s I Am Music Tour was her introduction to most of the hip hop world, though her experience and history with music is an extensive one. Along with Drake, whom she considers a brother, her popularity is growing by the day. She currently is working on her debut album while continuing to do mixtape work and features. DTP's Willy NorthPole is a true child of Hip Hop. The Southside Phoenix, Arizona rapper was less fortunate growing up, joining a gang and living the way of the underworld . Showcasing his skill on mixtapes in his earlier career Willy can spit with roughest. On the inrto of his mixtape The Take Over Willie gives " The Story " of how once being affiliated with 50cent's G-Uint.

Recently releasing his debut album Tha Connect NorthPole shows and proves there's more to him than bandannas and Dickies. The album features hit single " #1 Side Chick " which he is accompanied by Bobby Valentino. The song is about having feelings for the girl that has been with you from start while being in a current relationship. Not to far from what we've already heard, right? Well while trying to promote the single Willy and Bobby V. shot the video hoping to get major play on music video networks. Well one network just isn't feeling the message of the song. BET banned " #1 Side Chick " implicating they don't want to send that message to it's young viewers Willy says' " he respects BET's opinion ".

This is the second stand which BET has taken on artist within the last 2 months. Earlier they banned the Young Money performance from the BET Awards, cutting out there performance from the tape so it will not be seen in later showings. We dont know if BET has a new policy and is standing firm on it but we do know this means video directors are gonna have to show more creativity.

NBA GM’s wasted no time in making changes for the future after the recent “Shaq-less” Laker championship. Along with the draft, we have seen several huge trades made to franchise teams, as well as rumors of others. After showing bitter acceptance of their loss to the Orlando Magic in the semifinals, the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired former Magic center Shaquille O’neal from the Suns. O’neal, though a seasoned veteran, still plans to be a formidable presence in the paint for the Cavs as they work towards a championship ring. Rasheed Wallace also recently agreed to sign with the Boston Celtics, creating a new pair of twin towers in the east with Wallace and Garnett in the backcourt. Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson will be suiting up in Orlando next season due to a four-way trade sending Rafer Alston, Tony Battie, and Courtney Lee to New Jersey.

In the Western Conference, Houston forward Ron Artest leaves the Rockets, and with a pending career-ending injury for Yao, the loss of Artest is definitely felt in Houston. Though a free agent, Jason Kidd has renegotiated with the Mavericks and plans to stay for a few more years, and Lamar Odom plans to return to the Lakers as well.

Without even considering the new rookies of the NBA, the league is going to see some major changes next season, with plenty of expectations to be met.

November 22, 2005 Microsoft released their Xbox 360, which was rated the most innovative game console of the new millennium causing pandemonium throughout retail chains. With a built-in 60gb hard drive to save movies, music and games, wireless controls and being able to play live with other gamers across the globe , this had to be the turn of the century. Well lets prepare for it to turn again, this time doing a 720. Yup, you heard it right Microsoft talks about Xbox 720 theory.

In 2007 EGM magazine caught up with Microsoft's Interactve Entertainment Business Division Peter Moore asking if Microsoft does come out with another console " if they'd drop support for the Xbox 360 like they did with the oringinal Xbox". His response was that they were going to support it “as long as it sold.” In 2008 President of Entertainment & Devices Division at Microsoft implied that they were going to keep the 360 on the market as long as possible. But with competition Nintendo Wii in the works for its second series the Wii 2 and talks about Playstation's Ps4 there is no doubt that Microsoft is back at the drawing board.

Not much has been said from the makers of the console while trying to keep its functions and capabilities quiet from their competition Ps4 and the Wii 2, but there are assumptions that rather having a 60gb hard drive it will have a hard drive that delivers terabytes.
1 terabyte equals to 1,000gb. A whole lot more than before right? Right. Being that Sony's Ps3 delivered 160gb Microsoft had to step their game up. There has also been allegations that the 720 will have a 16 or 32 processing cores including on-board graphics ( rendering 3D graphic ) and 8gb of DDR memory. The question remains, " will Microsoft follow Nintendo's interactive gaming? " The Xbox is set to hit retail chains in 2011 ( so they say ) and there has been speculations of Sony releasing their Playstation 4 around the same time if not then sooner. Well what about the Wii, We don't know but we expect all of the cosoles to drop in the same year. Just giving you the heads up. " stating that last year " Hip Hop struggled to find five classic albums. In 1998, there were 10 times as many end-to-end burners." Then naming their top 5 ( in order ) :
1. Aquemini ( OutKast, Laface )
2. Vol. 2...Hard Knock Life ( Jay-Z, Roc-A-Fella )

With Atlanta Bred OutKasts' Aquemini as their number one album of choice while others may disagree, it goes to show that hip hop travels and is a transcending culture. Besides Aqueminis' release in 98 there weren't to many hip hop albums coming from out of the South. Not to say that the south wasn't making any noise, they had No Limit and Cash Money battling for the charts constantly, so I'm sure the south were selling as many records as any east coast artist at the time, not hip hop records though.

So is hip hop dead ? Or has the art form traveled and transcended to different regions of the land ?

Out of Fayetteville, North Carolina " FayetteNam to be exact ", I introduce to you J. Cole, the first artist to sign under Jay-Z's new label RocNation who is definitely on The Come Up. With doubts that any south artist could spit and be the one to bring it back to the basics, J. Cole is the epitome of that of that statement. In 08 releasing The Come Up, the mix tape debut that landed him a meeting with rapper/CEO Sean " Jay-Z " Carter, Cole spits over Nas' I'm the Man,
" You all my dick , why lie?
Thought us ni**as from the south couldn't spit, wa-laah ",
as he brings the speculations to the light.

Cole is ya average guy but with an above average rhyme scheme that compliments the sometimes self-produced emcee. More than a lyricist but an artist as he paints us a vivid scene of high school on School Daze .
On " Dollar & A Dream ", he tells the tale of leaving home to move to The Big Apple without knowing a soul just a dollar and a dream. That lets us know Cole's hungry and that he's willing to go the extra mile.

I came across the 21 track mixtape mixed and hosted by Dj OnPoint a year after it had already been submitted on datpiff.com ( a free mix tape website ) with statistics rating it a 5 star classic and having close to 5,000 downloads I think this kids dreams might just turn to dollars.

During the early mid-nineties California was only releasing gangster albums, being that was and still is the market leaving little room for hip hop to breathe. Rapper Common even released a song called " I use to love her " metaphorically speaking about hip hop. In the song he takes shots at Cali claiming that Cali artist turned the her out stating " talking about poppin glocks, servin' rocks and hittin' switches ". In 1998 the only rapper making noise on a international level was Snoop Dogg who was signed to No Limit Records at the time. E-40 had been making some noise also but Snoop was ranked number 19 in VIBE's List.

When people hear Cali they think Los Angeles or maybe even the Bay now since the Hyphy Movement has made it's mark in the music industry. This next artist I introduce to you is miles away from L.A. and far from hyphy. Keeping it lit in the " city of trees " better known Sacramento, is rapper/CEO Rick Royals. You're probably thinking Sacramento? Yup Sac, South Sac at that. Royals, a rookie to the business but a veteran in his pen game has been consistent with release after release. With 3 mix tapes already in circuit Rick plans to release 3 more within the 6 month period under his indie label Royal Fam Muzik Group.

When it comes to a style I wish I could pen point one out but after listening to Royals'
" Skoo Houze Roc " an exclusive mixtape leak for FLYSWAG, I came to a one conclusion and that was that he definitely deserves a throne in hip hop. Royals is an all around artist being one of the best story tellers ever. Listening to Come Save Me a reply to Common's I used to love her Rick opens,
" I get a call from hip hop said she Miami,
& that she really miss home & she wanna see the family ".
The mixtape production is jazz/soul inspired having a the famous Ray ( Jamie Foxx ) drop between every track,
" I'm gon' make it do what it do baby!!! " expressing Rick's ambitions to the industry. Karrine Steffans is back at it again. The former music video performer and porn star, writer of New York Times best sellers Confessions of a Video Vixen in 2005, and The Vixen Diaries in 2007 will be releasing a new dvd titled Kiss And Tail, or in her case is it Kiss And Tell. In Steffans' previous publications she airs out all her bad laundry. Not just her dirty bag either she writes about past her relationships with rappers, actors and anyone she has been with having fame, limelight or fortune. Given the nickname Superhead by rapstar Ja Rule, Steffans ran with her new identity, making it a brand. Narrating the film is star radio personality Wendy Williams and it will feature some of hip-hops' biggest names. There is no date for when and where the DVD will be released, but seeing that Karrine doesn't keep her mouth shut, I'm sure we'll be hearing about it soon !!!

McNair's Twisted Affair :Crime & Reason ( Part Three )

In recent news, Soheyla Kazemi, sister of Sahel, the mistress of late former NFL Quarterback Steve McNair has spoken to media about the her sister and Steve's affair. Soheyla tells reporters she met McNair approx. a month ago when she came to Nashville to visit Sahel for her 20th birthday. " He was nice " she states " He did everything for my daughter ". Although Soheyla took a likeness to McNair's kindness, she was worried about the age difference being McNair was thirty six. " She never listened to nobody ", Soheyla adds. Knowing her sister's distraught childhood she says, Sahel " had never been happier " in the recent months even though Steve was married to his wife of 12 years Mechelle McNair.
Steve had been telling Sahel that Mechelle and him have not been living together and " he is going to get a divorce very soon "and " they were going to move in together " Soheyla tells the media.
Two weeks ago Sahel had flew to Vegas with intentions of meeting boyfriend McNair, but Steve never showed. Other actions show that Steve was trying to pull out of this love triangle while the 20 year old premeditated a scheme to murder Steve, then to turn the gun to herself.

This just in. Early 90's rapstar Stanley Burrell b.k.a MC Hammer has been trying to make a comeback. First, I hear something about an eleven episode Reality T.V. pilot he's pitching which is expected to be airing June. Now he's airing out the beef he once had between New York based rap group 3rd Bass ( " Pop Goes the Weasel " ). 3rd Bass makes up of three rap artist but one we may all know or heard of is " MC Serch ", that's right Serch (creator and host of the White Rapper Show ).

Rapper Serch was questioned by Grandslam Magazine giving them the full story on what could have been the end of of his life.

GS: that really did happen then?

Serch: oh yeah, that really happened. “really happened” is like the biggest understatement, it was beyond really happened. that **** is like as real as breathing air! ok, here’s the whole thing…so we diss hammer, and hammer wasn’t really pissed about “gas face,” he was really pissed about “cactus,” when pete said “the cactus turned hammer’s mother out.” he took it as a straight diss to his mom, and we weren’t dissing his mom. we were putting a play on words with “turn this mother out” and the cactus turned this mother out--we turned him out, we’re just hotter. ok, he took it as a diss to his mom. so we get on a plane at that time, and we’re on our way to LA, and i’m with my then girl, now wife, chantelle, and pete’s with his girl roxanne, and daddy rich is with his girl, and we’re just like “oh my god, we’re going to cali, this is amazing.” so we’re on the plane, and i got this whole story obviously from later in life, but this is how it went down…louis burrell--hammer’s brother--calls rush and talks to carmen ashhurst watson, who was the president of def jam at the time. and he says to her “is 3rd bass really coming to LA?” and carmen says “yeah” and louis says “good THEY’RE DEAD!” and hung up the phone.so they basically had to figure out who was involved in what, and where, and how.

GS: and you’re on the plane oblivious to all of this?

Serch: yep. so they basically got five hours to clear this up before we land. they put a $60,000 hit out with one of the biggest gangs in LA, for any member who got to us, and could prove it--a huge amount of money. they contact mike conception, who at the time was doing that record “we’re all in the same gang”, and hammer had gotten mike’s help. so russell simmons manages to get a hold of mike and says “listen, this can’t go down, how do we stop this?” and he says “it’s too late now, we can’t stop it” and russell is like “no, no, i’ll do anything.” so, mike finally says “listen, i want to go to the american music awards, and i want to sit next to michael jackson, and then we won’t kill them, we’ll just break their legs, but you’ll still be able to film them on tv from the waist up.” this was his reasoning! russell says “no, you can’t shoot them at all,” and finally that’s the deal that they made. so russell calls donnie inner and tommy motola and he explains the situation, and if you check the seating plan for the american music awards from 1990….michael jackson next to mike conception. we get off the plane and we’re like “this is cali!” we’re amped, and the second we get off the plane, the guy that wound up being our security for four years--uncle mel--grabs us and is like “get in the van!!!!” and is pushing us together with about 5 other bodyguards. now we’re thinking that we’re the beatles, we’re like “yo, they must be stopping fans from ripping our clothes off, we’re out of control!” when we get in the van, we’re noticing strange things, like the windows are plexi glass, there’s no way to open the doors, there’s no handles. we’re thinking that we’re HUGE! we get in the van and we’re told that we have a whole floor booked at the hyatt and that we can’t have any guests, and we’re like “whoa!”…we still don’t get it.

We get to the hotel, and as we get to the hotel…at the hotel i’m confronted by rakim, and im like “oh my god, rakim word up” and he’s like “yo dogs, why’d you diss me?” and im like “WHAT?” and he says “you dissed me in your record “steppin to the a.m.” and im like “what are you talking about?” and he said “you knew that we were suing MCA and you said the line “you just a sucker seeking a settlement…” and i said “no dog, the line is “you’re just a stunt…seeking a settlement” i was talking about hoes. dog, i would never diss you, you’re my favorite emcee of all time!” all of a sudden, this car comes by, and these bangers start coming out of it, throwing up gang signs, and uncle mel grabs me and im like “don’t drag me away from my fans” and he’s like “what, are you stupid?” and then for the first time he explained the hit out on us. you know what? the whole LA thing…i didn’t get it. i didn’t realize how deep it was, and i didn’t get it. im like “this is nonsense.” then, all of a sudden, this skinny dude comes in there, jheri curl dripping, and skinny as a rail, scarred up, just pure tats and scars, and uncle mel goes “are you pookie?” and asks for i.d. and believe me, at this point, guns are drawn on this kid. he shows i.d. that he’s pookie, and it’s cool. me and pete are like “yo, what’s the deal?” mel tells me that this kid is going to be our liaison and he’s going to stay with us. pookie was a high lieutenant in one of these gangs, like second in command, and he had to roll with us the WHOLE time we were in LA.

I'm now thinking that this is b.s., and just say that i want to go to the mall to take my girl shopping. mel says no, but pookie is cool as long as he’s with us. i go in the van for my first time to the beverly center, and im walking around like im the king of LA. im still saying that the whole thing is just some b.s. and pookie is like “oh, it’s b.s.? ok, do me a favor, and go stand over there and take that elevator, you go and meet some fans then” i’m like **** it, alright. so i go, and there’s a couple of girls like “oh my god, it’s mc serch.” but then, all of a sudden, im looking left and right, and im seeing all these dudes, and im like “oh ok, dudes are coming over too, it’s all good” next thing i know, they all got bandanas pulled over their faces, and then they start to pull out right there in the mall. then i hear this whistle, loud as hell, and i see pookie, and he’s throwing up crazy signs and shouting “IT’S ALL GOOD, IT’S OVER” then the bandanas come off and the guns put down, and these same guys start talking like “yo, we really like your records homes. word up” but me…im literally shook white, and only then did it hit me that it was real. it was really REALLY real. so this definitely put a dampener on our trip to cali!

So June's passed and still nothing on the 90's hit-makers' ( haha ) Reality T.V. Show. The pilot focuses on Burrell's business ventures and family life. Maybe if he didn't take things so personal he could get his old buddy Serch to help.

New in entertainment news Sasha Baron Cohen's as we may know by " Borat " or now " Bruno " has cut a scene in reference to the King of Popstar Michael Jackson. The scene features the Michael's sister Latoya Jackson eatting sushi off naked men and an attempt by Bruno to get Michael Jackson 's mobile number.

Universal Pictures said that the scene had been removed from the film "out of respect" for The King and the Jackson Family reports BBC News .

As hilarious as Sasha is and today's world of getting away with practically anything, I'm glad to say that there are still production companies with moralities. BIGGUPS to Universal, hopefully other film and production companies will follow and start looking at the" Man in the Mirror ".

Kanye West announced this morning that him disco pop star Lady Gaga will be going on a North American tour. There are no actual dates when the tour will jump off or even take place but it is guaranteed to be a show definitely to see. The name of the tour is called Vocano. The two will be performing alongside each other and as seperate acts.
Just fot the record, Ye recently sampled Lady Gaga's " Poker Face " where he teamed up with label-mates Kid Cudi and Common. So my guesses are there will be a lot of GOOD Music, both literal and in person.

New York Congressman Pete King makes a Video Blog name bashing and what sounds to me like a deflamation of character on the late great Pop Icon' Michael Jackson. In King's v-blog he honors our Troops, Peace Officers, Teachers, stating, " None of them really get much credit ". Then turns around and says, " This low life, Micheal Jackson, his name, his face, his picture is all over the newspapers, televison, the radios and that's all we hear about is Micheal Jackson. " Read that quote carefully sounds like your genuine hater ( Pete King Ph.d ). But this is where his allegations get out of hand, " this guy was a pervert, a child molestor, uuu , he was a pediphile ". Michael Jackson was no stranger to the judicial system. He had been charged w/ child molestation but not convicted.

More so, Michael Jackson's been living for all these years and've I never heard of this dude Pete King, until now. Did I miss something is there some type of election going on. It would also cast a shadow over the three-day summit, as both leaders have made replacing the treaty, known as START I, the centerpiece of their efforts to 'reset' bilateral relations badly strained during the Bush administration."

BET Awards Bans Young Money's Performance

Two days after the death of Legendary Pop Icon Micheal Jackson, the BET Awards aired. With BET trying to keep the show and performances in tribute to MJ, some artist just couldn't let the hood out of them, we all know the saying.

Young Money artist Aubrey " Drake " Graham was set to perform his new hit single " Every Girl In The World "w/ label mates Lil Wayne and Young Money onstage alongside him. Drake, who had sat on the stage for which seemed like all of the perormance, had torn his ACL " trying to connect with his inner Kobe ". The Award Show was hosted by funny man himself Jamie Foxx, who came out in a smedium Micheal Jackson thriller ensemble trying to shine some humor on the sad night, haha, that's cool. But Young Money had they're own humor going on being disrespectful during other performances, laughing at non laughing matters and for the cherry on top performed " Every Girl ",

Even though the song is number a 1 song throughout the country, it just wasn't the time and place for it. After giving what I'm hearing and feeling was the worse BET performance, ooops , can't forget about Keith Sweat's, they rushed off stage and gave the fakest R.I.P. Micheal Jackson. Shame on Young Money. And that's exactlt what it did brought shame. BET banned the performance from being aired in the future, the awards will still show just not Young Money's Drake Performance.

If it makes any difference Drake went live and apologized for the behaviour of his colleagues and his self that night and explained why he sat for most of the performance.
